In another milestone for international academic partnerships, The Fobang Institute for Innovation in Science and Technology (FINISTECH) recently hosted prestigious visitors including a representative from the Ministry of Higher Education (MINESUP), Professor Klove from Germany’s online communication skills program, and Professor Charles, Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University from Nigeria.

This high-level meeting centred on establishing international accreditation programs for professional credentials and exploring future collaborative opportunities between the institutions. The distinguished guests were welcomed as part of FINISTECH’s ongoing commitment to global educational partnerships.

During the visit, Dr. Jane Enow, Registrar of the institution, presented FINISTECH’s remarkable journey from its founding to its current achievements. She emphasised the institution’s dedication to fostering innovation among students, highlighting numerous successful student projects that demonstrate the practical application of their education. Dr. Jane also noted that these initiatives align perfectly with the vision of Professor Wilfred Fon Mbacham, FINISTECH’s founder, who prioritises international exchanges as a means to inspire students.

The delegation was given a comprehensive tour of FINISTECH’s impressive facilities, including the Centre for Health Innovation, Technology, Research and Scientific Solutions (CHITRESS), Fobang Diagnosis, Radio Health International, and CLAPPED. The visitors expressed admiration for the institution’s infrastructure and innovative approach to education.
